DG a relatively common case, and caused by deposition amalgam material tissue during dental application or oral surgery. aim this study was to determine significance cast post for appearance abutment teeth (AT) relation type fixed prosthesis (FDP) alloy. Methods. included 327 subjects with FDP. A total 1585 AT were examined. Subjects classified into four groups depending on alloy which their FDPs fabricated (silver-palladium, gold, nickel-chromium combination them). confirmed X-ray inspection chart. data collected within one year. Results. observed more than third (37.7%) 57.3% had . In case AT, discoloration occured 14.6% them. Cast present 92.7% DG. Conclusion. all regardless from FDP fabricated. great gray-bluish gingiva.
